| Biblical
• |
|
We
believe the Bible is the Word of God. It is our supreme authority
for al belief and behavior. We study it individually, discuss it in
small groups, and expound it in public. We consult God's word in
matters of doctrine, questions of ethics and even problems of
policy. |
| Filipino
• |
|
We
believe that the gospel will thrive in the Philippines as it takes
deep root in the native soil. Thus IVCF has remained a Filipino
movement-governed by a Filipino board of directors, headed by a
Filipino general secretary, and supported mainly by Filipino
Christians- since its recognition in 1959.
The work principles, policies and methods that we employ are the
result of creative interaction with God's word and the Filipino way
of thinking. |

We are
basically a student and graduate movement. We have stood to our
belief that the most effective witnesses to non-Christians in the
academic and professional world are their colleagues who are
Christians. IVCF'ers are missionaries in their perspective spheres
of influence. |

Servant of the Filipino Church • |
|
We aim to
build up God's Church in the Philippines. We serve as an arm of the
church as we help nurture students and graduates to a lifetime of
discipleship. We encourage IVCF'ers to take active part in a local
church which is their long-term spiritual home. |

challenge students and graduates to take part in the extension of
god's kingdom in the university, the professional world, the
community, the country and to the ends of the earth. |

OUR MINISTRIES
Our main ministry is to establish and sustain autonomous fellowships which
are evangelistic, nurturing, prayerful and involved in worldwide missions.
We work among high school students through the Inter-School Christian
Fellowship (ISCF), college students through the inter-Varsity Christian
Fellowship (IVCF), nursing students and graduates through the Nurses'
Christian Fellowship, and professionals through the Graduates' Christian
Fellowship. We help provide teaching and training through lectures,
symposia, semestral and summer camps, workshops and conferences. Aside from
our newsletter, the Campus Impact, we also produce bible study guides and
other training materials.

OUR DREAM
We dream of a "steady
stream of men and women who love nothing more than they love the Lord Jesus,
and hate nothing more than they hate sin... who shall be the
pastors-teachers, and lay leaders of the churches, the Christian
professionals and businessmen, the seminary and university professors,
journalists and media people, the politicians and reformers... the builders
of Christian homes..."

God has used his people to embody our dream. We praise Him as we see
more students and graduates take part in Inter-Varsity's outreach.
You can be part of it too as you:
Encourage students and graduates in their witness in the
campus and in the offices. Commend Inter-Varsity to them. Refer them
to us.
Pray for us regularly.
Help finance this ministry. Your gift will be greatly
appreciated and used carefully.
Join our team of workers. We need more fulltime staff, Grad
Team members, volunteer workers, counselors, etc. |
