ISCF
Camp 2002
The ISCF LC-DC’ 02 held at General Baptist Bible College, Puan, Davao
City, made a history with 73 (38 boys, 35 girls) campers from all over
Southern Mindanao (Davao City, Tagum City, Kapalong, Kidapawan City,
Koronadal City, Isulan, Polomolok, General Santos City and Bansalan). Most
of the campers were children, relatives & church members of IVCF
graduates.

Thanks
to the support of graduates and friends, IVCF-SMRU was able to send seven
delegates to Kawayan Camp 2002 in Cebu. Kabacan had two delegates while
General Santos City, Kidapawan City, Davao City, Tagum City and Kapalong had
one delegate each. These students are now our leaders in their respective
campus chapters.
National
GCF Conference
Atty. Jordan Reyes with Mr. Ray
Poral joined the GCF Conference in Baguio.
After the conference Kuya Jordan
and Kuya Ray were able to visit the GCF groups in the region.
National
GT Conference
Around
13 graduates dared to travel (by land) from GenSan to Baguio City. There
were a total of 20 delegates from Southern Mindanao.
The GT Conference was an enriching experience such that the graduates
decided to have a re-echo conference
during the GCF Mindanao Congress on Nov. 15-17,2002.

Consultation
There were 22 graduates and GTs who joined the Regional GT
Consultation held last July 26-27 in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. The theme
was “Catching the Vision… Passing the
Vision” The GTs together with
the staff discuss the direction of the ministry for this school year.
IVCF-SMRU

We
now have our own website: http://ivcf-smru.8m.net
You can visit our site and if you plug something that concerns IVCF-SMRU you
can do so. However, this is a newly made site so do not be surprised not to
see much from it.
Farewell
Bon
voyage to Darrell, Lula, Myrell Mortalla and Janet Magturo. Darrell was the
IVCF-SMRU Regional Director. He served IVCF-SMRU for ten years. They will
leave for Texas this 2nd week of August. Likewise, Joyce
Resurrection & Shirley Mondi, fellow Davao GCfers, were transferred to
Manila. Joyce is now joining the
GCF Makati. Shirley hopes to join the GCF in Q.C.

Grace Alegre for their new baby girl, Krystiana Grazzia Alegre.
Announcements

LCDC 2002 will be on October 21-26,
2002 in Mt. Carmel, Bansalan, Davao del Sur. The registration fee is PhP
650.00. Brochures will be distributed later for more information.

Application for IVCF membership is
now open for those who are interested. You can inquire from your leaders,
GTs and Staff for more information.
o
We already have a new IV Home in
Polomolok, South Cotabato. This will serve as a place for trainings and
meetings in South Cotabato area.
o
GCF Mindanao Congress will be on
November 15-17, 2002 in Cagayan de Oro City.
